Privacy policy

This policy explains what information SafeKeep Movers LLC ("SafeKeep", "we") collects when you use www.safekeepmovers.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request a quote, book a move, call us, or write to us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, the addresses you are moving between, your preferred dates, and details about the items being moved. The quote form on this site is provided by Elromco (MoveBoard), the software our office uses to price and schedule moves, so what you enter there goes directly into that system.
Information collected automatically
- Advertising measurement. This site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure whether our advertising leads to quote requests and phone calls. It sets cookies and records page views and these actions on your device. Meta's use of this data is described in Meta's own privacy policy, and you can limit it through your Meta ad preferences or your browser settings.
- Hosting. Our site is served by Vercel, which logs standard connection data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages.
- Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to serve them.
How we use it
- To prepare your estimate, schedule and perform your move, and answer your questions.
- To keep the records New Jersey requires a licensed mover to keep (N.J.A.C. 13:44D), including your order for service and inventory.
- To understand which of our advertising leads to real quotes and booked moves. To do this we may send a hashed (scrambled) version of the contact details of customers who booked with us to Meta, so it can be matched against people who saw our ads. Meta cannot read the details themselves.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers named here and any party we are legally required to give it to.
How long we keep it
Move records are kept for as long as New Jersey regulations require and for as long as needed to resolve any claim. Quote requests that do not become a move are deleted or anonymised within two years.
Your choices
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law does not require us to keep it. Call (201) 566-6147 or write to the address below.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can opt out of ad measurement in your Meta ad settings.
Children
This site is for adults arranging a move. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
