Our rates are filed with the State of New Jersey, so the number below is the number, whoever answers the phone and whichever day you call. No estimate theatre.

Every one of these comes from the schedule we filed with the State. If it is not on this list, it is not on your invoice.

Valuation
Two levels of cover. You choose in writing.
Standard · included
$1.00 per pound, per article
The legal baseline in New Jersey, included in every rate on this page. Simple, but a 60-pound armoire is covered for $60, so read the next card.
Increased valuation
$12 per $1,000 declared
Declare what the contents are actually worth and the cover follows the declaration. For most full households this costs less than the packing paper.
Neither option is pre-selected. You choose on the work order, in writing, before we load, and the choice is yours alone.
The floor
We start at $1,500.
Below that, the arithmetic of a careful move does not work: the crew, the materials, the photographs, the paperwork. If your move prices under the floor, we will tell you on the phone and refer you to someone good instead.
