The Rightsizing Plan
Two months, four stages, one record.
A two-month accompanied process for a family emptying a long-held home. Usually the person hiring us is the adult child, coordinating from a distance. The plan is built for exactly that.
The walk
We walk the whole house with her, room by room, at her pace. No cartons, no tape, no pressure. The output is a plan the whole family sees before anything moves.
The sort
Every category gets a documented destination: goes with her, goes to family, goes to consignment or donation, goes away. Nothing is thrown out quietly. Every decision is written down, and she makes them all.
The move
Move day is short and calm, because the sorting is already done. Her bed is made in the new room the same evening, with the same quilt, before the crew leaves.
The record
Within 24 hours, the whole family receives the record: photographs of every room, the numbered inventory, and where every category went. The sibling three time zones away sees exactly what happened, and nobody has to take anybody’s word for anything.
