The Seal Promise
Five clauses. Plain words. Every job.
This is the part of moving the industry never built: what happens after something goes wrong, decided in advance and put in writing.
Every carton we pack is sealed and numbered, and you get the numbered inventory on paper, signed, before we leave your old address.
We photograph every room at load and at delivery, and you get the photographs within 24 hours whether or not anything went wrong.
If a seal is broken on arrival and you did not break it, we inventory that carton with you on the spot, before the truck leaves.
If you tell us something is damaged or missing, a named person replies in writing within one business day and makes a written resolution offer within three.
If we miss either deadline, $100 comes off your invoice per missed deadline, and you do not have to ask.
What the Promise is, and is not
The Promise governs how we handle a problem. It is not a replacement for the valuation you chose: our filed basis is $1.00 per pound per article, and increased valuation is available on the work order. It does not cover cartons you packed yourself unless we sealed them. Our liability for missing our own deadlines is limited to the amount of your invoice.
